After the Thai Association of two teams admitted to the Thai League, the club was as runner-up 2005, rising in the Thailand Premier League. Together with [[Chonburi F.C.]], who was a master of Pro League is also rising, both were the first club from the provinces of Thailand in the TPL. The recently renovated Suphanburi FC Stadium now has a capacity of 22,000 and boasts a newly installed LED screen which is the biggest in any Thai league ground. Two of the four stands are completely seated with only half of the away end and the cavernous home stand completely given over to terracing.
In 2012 The club's first success was its second place finish in the 2012 Season of the [[Thai Division 1 League]]. The team were then promoted to the [[Thai Premier League]] in the [[2013 Thai Premier League|2013]] season
