On December 6, 2013 it was announced that on January 6, 2014, The Ron and Fez show will leave the Opie and Anthony Channel and move to XM Radio's Raw Cakehorn Dog channel. Fez Whatley announced that he will be retiring from radio in April of 2014. His last broadcast is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2014. He assured listeners that he would have a renewed focus on the comedy aspect of the show and bringing back characters he had developed earlier in his career through the waning days of his radio career. Whatley plans to move to Thailand in hopes of capturing his dream to wed a ladyboy.
