During World War 2, when the Japanese occupied Singapore, the soldiers rounded our stronger Chinese men and sent them to dig ditches in various sites in Singapore. These Singaporean men line up in a row to be shot down by the Japanese soldiers so that they would fall into the graves they had dug out for themselves. Ah Kong was one of these men selected to be killed in the Sook Ching Massacre.This is the story of his escape, his life after the war and his love for his family.
