Václav Havel was born on 5 October 1936 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Leaving (2011), The Beggar's Opera (1991) and Heart Beat 3D (2010). He was married to Dagmar Havlová and Olga Splíchalová. He died on 18 December 2011 in Hrádecek, Czech Republic.
