    Bespectacled, balding and very prolific German character actor and cabaret performer, on stage from 1912. He reached the peak of his popularity after World War II on radio RIAS Berlin. In 1970 he became the world's oldest disc jockey with his program "Ewalds Schlagerparade" (Ewald's Hitparade) from the 27th January 1970 till the 26th January as moderator.
