This show is very exceptional! I think that you should view it. The person whom has commented above me probably just saw a bad episode, or was on drugs! The acting was 1st class, and after both characters previously being on the Amanda Show, their acting has just grown better. If you happen to be in a less than satisfactory demeanor, than you should watch Drake and Josh. If you watch the show and seem to have distaste in it, than maybe you should choose a program better suited to your individual taste. Not to mention the unstated fact that in the more recent episodes, the main character, Drake, is undoubtedly HOT! Josh- well, I think they chose him to be more on the funny side. But still, this program is most certainly one to be viewed.
Drake & Josh, just the name itself giving you a heart warmed feeling about these two goof balls!
I have a few compliments for this show from my point of view.
They are as follows:
1) Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, played by the hilarious Drake Bell and Josh Peck, are absolutely dimwitted in a good, belly laughing type way!
2) The music of some episodes, is just, awesome! I even liked the fact one episode even had Drake play the theme song in it!
3) The comedic timing of the characters is just, quote unquote from Inspector Gadget, "Wowzers!"
I could go on with this list, but I don't think I should!
One of the show's episodes, just gets me laughing so hard it splits my sides! Okay, TWO episodes.
It makes me feel like a child doing pranks again when I see Megan's pranks on the Drake and Josh dynamic duo!
All in all, I give this show an ultra, shiny, and brilliantly rare 10 out of 10.
PS-IF you watch any live action show, I recommend The Amanda Show or Drake and Josh!
Peace out!

Drake & Josh is truly one of the best sitcoms ever made! It features a realistic setting, good characters, and good life lessons.
Drake & Josh is a dangerously funny show about two boys living in San Diego, California with very different personalities who suddenly become brothers when their parents fall in love and marry. One is a permanently lucky, guitar playing heartthrob, and the other is an awkward but lovable geek. One of Josh's many gags is that he comically shouts single words at the end of sentences for emphasis. EMPHASIS! Drake plays guitar, rarely does his homework, and is a master at getting girls. Josh is a guy who goes out of his way to do well at school and everything else, which drives Drake crazy. Other characters include the sister, Megan, from Drake's side of the family, who pulls mean-spirited pranks on her brothers for no reason, especially Josh. She's the semi-antagonist, but she does care somewhat for her brothers, helping them more than a dozen times. Then there's Audrey Parker, who's Drake's attractive mother who's a firm but fair mom to Drake and Josh, and Walter Nichols, who's Josh's dad, and has a job as a weatherman for the city's local news station.
The show is hilarious with almost no flat jokes at all. Even though the show's a family sitcom, it's edgy enough for most adults to enjoy. Dude, I'm 21 and admittedly love this show! Unlike most Nickelodeon rubbish, this show remains watchable throughout the whole series. Definitely recommended for folks looking for humor as well as serious family issues. Watch it now!

I have watched nickelodeon from its high days with rugrats, all that, cat dog, brothers garcia and are you afraid of the dark. I would have to say that 4 out of the 5 of these have died and even though all that continues, its just not the same as it once was. Lately I've been changing the channel from nick just because there is nothing quality on. But this show (Drake & Josh) has brought back nickelodeons oldtime magic. The show that i first expected not to be worth watching, actually turned out to be the show that i watch most on TV. If i see it on as i'm passing through channels, i'll stop and watch. This show combines funny situations with almost no corny parts in it, different from most of nick's comedys. Though it may not have total laugh out loud moments, it is funny just to watch the two totally different brothers react with all of the problems that come their way. Regardless it i definitely worth watching. Next time you see it on just take the time to stick with it, i bet you'll like it.
Although, the 3 episodes of the "Drake & Josh goes to Hollywood" are extremely dumb... How is it possible to get into the wrong plane and all the stuff doesn't care that a little girl travels alone? How is it possible to see so dumb thieves? Apart from that episodes, Drake & Josh was an amazing, funny and a very pleasant watching show. I hope Nick to make more shows like this (G)old one.

- TriviaDrake Bell and Josh Peck stated in 2019 that they would be interested in doing a more adult oriented reunion of the show.
- GoofsIn the episode where Josh gets mad at Drake for making him miss his chemistry exam, Drake comes into the house with a green sit and bounce to make Josh feel better, almost through the entire scene you can clearly see the reflection of all the stage lights in the shiny green sit and bounce.

Josh Nichols: Headaches! You give me headaches!
- Crazy creditsDeleted scenes are often shown during the end credits, with four exceptions. "The Gary Grill" had Drake and Josh, out of character, preforming a rendition of the show's theme song, "Blues Brothers" had the Hewitt character and his band harmonizing the show's theme song, "Dr. Phyllis" had best of clips of Drake and Josh horsing around and "The Battle of Panthatar" included bloopers.
