first, i think it is a great teen show, 95% clean, fun, some action, good characters, although eli is a bit over the top, and mostly original, if a bit goofy, story lines. the people playing all the parts are very natural and great! too bad sara paxton is the only one who really has done anything else, would love to see more, esp, from shannon!
but who is the girl who plays phoebe, the "girlfriend" of the boys? she looks really familiar, but cannot find her in any of my usual sources? she is great, and incredible facial expressions!
also, not arguing or anything, just curious, why the 10 line limit?
any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Victoria Fields is a Hollywood actress who moves to the country with her daughter Darcy Fields (Sara Paxton). Darcy is a fish out of water. She gets a job at the animal clinic Creature Comforts run by Dr. Kevin Adams. She befriends the daughter reasonable Lindsay, young Jack Adams, the bumbling Eli, and sweet Kathi Giraldi.
This is a smaller kids show filmed in Canada. It's a lot of wacky characters doing wacky things. There are lesson to learn and friends to make. There are two things I like about this show more than the standard Disney kids shows. It doesn't take place in an artificial colorful indoor set. It's outdoors half the time. It also has lots of little animals. It's more organic. Sara Paxton is good as the Hollywood girl. The kids are nice. It's a nice show.

Okay, I've only seen two episodes of this show so far so maybe it's too quick to judge but so far I'm just not seeing the potential. This show is made by the same producers of the uber hit Lizzie McGuire and I've seen articles saying they expect the star Sara Paxton to break out similar to Hilary Duff. I am far from a Hilary fan but I do admit she has an on screen charisma and charm. Sara is okay in the role of the fish out of water city girl who is forced to move to small town America, but I'm not feeling star power. Maybe it's the weak script or the overdone premise, but I'm not buying it. What saved Lizzie McGuire is an overall decent ensemble cast which kept things lively and interesting even when the plots became absurd. Darcy's Wild Life does not have this. Shannon Collis does a good job as Lindsay and I think she is more interesting than the main character, but overall the cast has limited chemistry. As I said, it's early goings to maybe it will get better but so far, I'll pass.
Darcy's Wild Life, starring the highly gorgeous Sara Paxton, is so incredibly amusing from the way that I view it. The characters and the stories here really sparkle. I discovered the series on NBC one Saturday a few weeks back. The series has become a surefire favorite with me. Paxton is a very cute girl. I hope that her personality never, ever changes! Her attractive looks really captivate me. She also has a vast amount of charisma to go along with her stylish appearance. I hope that this show stays on NBC for a great while because I can't get enough of what this program generally showcases. This is a series that just about anybody of any age can thoroughly enjoy. I love you Sara!
I like to watch this show practically every night. In fact, I am watching it RIGHT NOW! I think that it's a really funny show, and I love all of the animals that are on it! It's a funny and optimistic show, that sort of always turns out good in the end. The characters are almost always optimistic and happy, and it's a very cheery show! Sometimes it can be really funny, except for how fake some of the falls that Eli makes! I like this show though, and almost any age can watch it! You will probably think that this show is funny too, and you might find yourself wanting to watch it every night like I do, only quite often repeats ARE on it. You will probably enjoy this show too! The acting in it is also not bad! Which may come as a shock to some people, b/c a lot of the time the acting that teens do on shows is awful!
